With the ridiculous short time we had in the recording studio to record the 40th Anniversary CD Bernie, Phil and myself went to Romeo’s school (Harberdashers’ Boys School) to perform an acoustic show.

It was a wonderful success and we had a good time doing it even though in true Heep style the pressure was on to finish the 40th Anniversary CD. I had committed to doing this show before the recording dates were set but in the end everything worked out great and it was wonderful to hear the boys sing and clap along.

We played The Wizard, Free me, Lady In Black, Tales, Circus, Why did you go, and a few others. With talks and stories it was about an hour.I took in my electric guitar, wah wah and a small amplifier and showed them how to rock and they loved it.
