Heep Rolls On !
4/26/2007
Hello,

Thanks for clicking on my site to keep in tune with what is going on.

There is much excitement in the Heep camp and the recording is going very well. We want to make the album that both the fans and band can be proud of and so far I think we are right on track.

It is great being in the creative process again and back in the studio. Writing the songs is one thing but recording them is quite a different animal but it is all good thus far and the energy and excitement level is at a high point.

The first concert with Russell in Finland was a cool experience and a great springboard for us to build upon. The feeling on stage was electric as it was the first show and there was much celebrating afterwards with the Nazareth boys who stayed for the whole show and loved it.

To commemorate this first show with Russell I have a signed poster by Uriah Heep and Nazareth , one just signed by the band, my actual backstage pass signed by the band on the back and a pair of Russell’s drum sticks. I would like to auction these for my cancer charity fund and thanks for any of you who participate.

As you may now know we have Ioannis on board to do the artwork so everything is networking very well. He has made some classic covers over the years and I hope ours will end up being one of them. We are gradually putting live shows in place but I guess with a September release that is when the live work will be picking up when we can put a whole schedule and tour plan together to promote the CD.

So there are exciting times ahead and thanks to every one of you that joins us for this next installment of the Uriah Heep musical journey through life.

‘Appy Days!
Mick

Hello,

Thank you to each and every one of you that take the time to visit my site. Between Dave White and myself we try to keep it moving by adding things all of the time and trying to keep a fresh approach to keep you all returning and who knows if we carry on like that we may even get some new hits. We have been busy of late doing the much publicised Cancer Charity show in Broadstairs which ended up being a big success and by the sound of it those that were able to attend they really enjoyed the intimacy of the show. It was nice being able to meet everyone after the show. A special thanks goes to David James who purchased the guitar I got signed by a number of world class musicians and also on the night he bought another guitar we put up for auction that the band signed along with a box set. This was a very generous display that helped swell the amount of money raised. Thanks.

Well I hope to quite shortly start another auction on the “Shirt Off My Back” to keep the momentum rolling. I feel that if we continue to auction things both big and small then everybody has the chance to get something and be involved.

We have a very hectic schedule of late and apart from the concerts we are busy rehearsing the Acoustic set and Phil and I are finishing off some more songs with a few lyrics. There is not really a day off until the end of December so the pedal is well and truly pushed to the floor in the Heep camp. We are also trying to squeeze in a little time with our families which is getting increasingly harder to do. Thank goodness they are so understanding. There is nothing like working under pressure. Well I guess that is it for now and once again thanks for pushing that button and visiting the site.

‘Appy Days,

A big hello and welcome to my little musical corner of cyberspace!

Thank you so much for joining and showing interest in what I have achieved in the past and what I am going to do in the future. I am very ‘umbled by you all taking the time to click on this website address.

As you may or may not know we have had this site running for quite a while but it has been pretty dormant due to time constraints on my treasured busy life with “Heep” combined with a "technical" problem on the webside of things.

However earlier in the year we started to look at how we could freshen this site up and put a re-launch in place with lots of new ideas. Dave White (The original Heep webmaster ) really thought that it would be worth doing and I have to say I have taken his lead and come up with a few ideas myself which I hope you will all enjoy.

If you would like to read on and get the inside story to all things Mick - please subscribe to our mailing list at the top of this page.

We will be sending out our mailers routinely and they will have news that only the members will be able to get, and we will be having more fun contests and new things launching as frequently as we can.

But, you'll need to belong to the mailing list to take advantage of these things !!

Well I can rattle on forever but ... for now sign up today if you haven't as our 1st mailer will go out the week of April 17 !

‘Appy Days,
Mick
