Sergej Says:
"I`m Sergej from Slovenia.
First of all I would like to thank you.
About my entry...
This insert of the song called "Mr. Twister" was originally recorded by
my band called Requiem (the authors are Marko Slokar and Sergej
Skofljanec and it was released in Slovenia in July 2002) and I recorded
all the instruments on this record.
This song is about a very mean and spooky character that scares little
kids (like in the cheap horror movies, ha, ha).
This is the short version of the song so I would anyway like to send you
the full version of this song separately if you would like to hear it.
Thanks to all of you and of course thanks to my guitar hero Mick Box and
Uriah Heep.
You are the best rock band in the world!!!! Rock on!!!
Sergej "
"The gear that I used for this track is Fender
Ritchie Blackmore stratocaster (Japan) with Fender silver lace sensor
pickups , Johnson J-station & Jim Dunlop Cry baby wah, drums and synths
were recorded with Korg Trinity on a Cubase VST computer program and a
few other sound samples were used in a original recording of Mr.
Twister. The song originaly isn`t instrumental so we had to delete the
vocals and record the wah-guitar part instead. The original song was
released somewhere in 2002 by our band called REQUIEM and the album is
called "Zadnja molitev" what means "The last/The finnal prayer" and it
was recorded in studio J&M Krajnik ( studio-krajnik.si). Im very proud
of this album because it was very highly rated on the foreign rock-AOR
websites (from 8.5 to 9.5 out of 10). The album lyrics are half in
Slovenian and half in English language and if you are interested in
getting this album here is the contact: marko.slokar@gmail.com Thanks
again for everything, best luck to everybody and ROCK ON!!!
SERGEJ"
